We are YOUNG ADULTS

My brother, and I.
I wish people would stop treating my brother like he’s a trouble maker just because he’s a fourteen year old boy. Most of the time he is responsible, and for the most part kind. Just because he's a “teenager” you think that makes him a trouble maker but that's not true. I am sixteen so I am almost an adult but not quite, it doesn’t mean I’m a trouble maker and just because I’m a girl doesn’t make me any better than my brother, or that I behave better than him. But it does mean we are older kids who will mess up, but that’s because that’s part of life, no one’s perfect, it just means we need a good bit more wisdom and responsible adults who show us how to act. Not treat us like irresponsible, immature kids. And just for the record we aren’t teenagers we are YOUNG ADULTS.

  1. I so agree! Every person in the world but especially every American teen needs to read Do Hard Things. Wich is written by Alex and Brett Harris.
